I think the Achievements are pretty solid. Though I am surprised there aren't any high score or chain Achievements. Oh well, such is life.
not dryad, you're being elitist. The super players are like a couple hundred people out of the whole world -- why would Treasure cater to those people for achievements? They obviously don't need achievements to entice them to "learn" the game.
An A ranking is not something that the majority of your average players are ever going to achieve on every level, and even fewer will ever get the 1cc even on Easy.
I love this game as much as anyone, and yes As are easy for me on some of the levels -- but that's because I've played the game for dozens of hours and will likely end up with hundreds by the time I'm done. People like me, you, the shmups.com or superplay guys are like .0001% of the gaming population. Treasure would be stupid to cater achievements to us.
I personally think the achievements are fairly solid looking because I HATE any acheivements that are leaderboard based - it means that only a handfull of people will ever be able to achieve them and that people who love the game, but don't have the time/skill necessary to devote to becoming #1 on the Leaderboard are screwed.
Personally Dryad if you think the achievements are such crap that you can't believe it set some personal goals, its something you have to do in real life anyways and I think those are more worthwhile than achievements anyways
