With the advent of the ‘New Xbox Experience’, we naturally set out to capture the clean look and feel that the new Dashboard provides. What began as a little software test a few months ago and put on the backburner has quickly exploded into a full theme over the past couple of weeks.
As you can see, Avatar support has come to MGC, along with some sexy reflection effects. This is a perfect opportunity for those in the NXE Preview program to put those Avatars to good use! In addition, we’ve also changed the normal GamerCards to display your Avatar picture ahead of the Xbox.com overhaul that will allow everyone to see them.
For the rest of us that still have a few weeks before getting the new Dashboard, there’s a default (Microsoft-made) Avatar in place.
I’ll be tweaking things based on user feedback over the next week or so; placements, sizing, etc. We think it looks great as it is, but if you feel strongly about seeing something modified, let us know!

It's nice and all, but I have a few requests.. Most importantly being a much smaller "sig sized" edition.<br />
It'd be nice if I could still have my gamerpic in there, too. Maybe in the background behind Mr Avatar, or something.. Although, no idea if that's doable. .. Do Gamerpics still exist with NXE?<br />

Is there going to be a sig sized one like there is for the regular gamercard? That's the one I usually use.

I'd say it's possible, but I'm pretty sure they're trying to bang out the dents on this version first before working on another one.

DyLi21 - When generating your GamerCard on the front page of our website, you can choose 'NXE' as your theme, which will give you what you want.

Tightening up the dimensions for a smaller card is in the works, but as mentioned, we want to ensure solid delivery of the current one.
Also note that any smaller sizes will likely have some limitations - for example, I may only be able to fit 3 recent games. It depends on what looks and feels best in the new dimensions.
