MyGamerCard has added another server to its resource pool to assist in speed and stability of our platform. This brings us to four dedicated machines for our Remote Application services, including image-based GamerCards, Flash services, and other various applications such as our ZuneCards and Geometry Wars ScoreCards.
MGC currently services an average of 12.5 million valid requests each day.
I will be monitoring and tweaking throughout the week as I gather live usage data for the new setup. Please let us know if you experience any errors or speeds slower than you’re used to.

Cool
12.5 million? Pff you can do better than that!

Great job mr. M
who's the guest now uh?
......12.5 million valid requests each day.
Wow. That's crazy.
And I still remember when you first started.
Has anyone noticed an improvement in the speed of gamercards since the new server went live? I know some people were experiencing slowdowns at peak times.
I guess.. Since the NXE launched my card was glitching out a lot and was just showing "Powered by MGC".
And you don't tell us these things?
If you see that happen, especially with any frequency, please let us know.
Frequency? No not really. Just every once in a random while mine loses presence info and reverts to a default card. It seems quite random and it never happens for very long (especially if it happens while my 360 is on). I haven't seen it happen at all in the last few days to a week. I always attributed it to a problem on Microsoft's end not MGC so I never thought much about it.
And for Adam, yes the cards seem a lot snappier now than they have for the past few months. They used to be the last thing to load on pages for me (didn't matter if it was peak or not, but it was worse at peak times). They still are, but I would by no means call them slow now.
Good job keeping MGC running as well as it has.
I still remember when Morgon started too.
(not to flaunt the member number or anything.)
thats realy nice m8, but I do have one question for you since the new server is there the rank statistic's are off on my own card im like 117th of my country and if I look in the leaderboards it looks realy strange like the server is very very slow in producing the right place number with the person. sorry for the bad comment but I had to get it of my cest. for the rest you guy's have a real cool site running
:D:D:D
The GamerCard servers are a separate system from those that handle the website or leaderboard information.
However, I don't have a problem viewing your Leaderboard page.
lolz you did a miracle dude thnx now it is also good on this side. it was realy a mess for a few day's but happely it is good again.
greetz,
Malembe
The Gamerpic Scout isn't working for me, will this be fixed?
Or is anyone else experiencing this problem?
Or is anyone else experiencing this problem?
Unannounced NXE Updates to Xbox.com changed the way GamerPictures are stored, which caused a lot of problems for the Scout so it had to go down. As far as I'm aware, there's no ETA on its return. You can read more here.
