Celebrate the New Year with the new Silverlight NXE Card!

In celebration of the New Year, we would like to show you something you’re familiar with, in a new interactive way! Just click a game, an Avatar, or scroll through the game list to see it in action.

Get Microsoft Silverlight

Get Microsoft Silverlight

You may be prompted to install Silverlight - don’t worry, it’s Microsoft’s version of
Flash (crudely speaking, of course). Installation should only take a moment.

While normally it would look exactly identical to our image-based NXE GamerCard, we had to dim the lights and let a few fireworks fly for 2010!

Dynamo Matt has done an incredible job on this application. While I helped guide its direction and tweak values here and there, he’s been working for several weeks building this for MGC and getting it just right. Be sure to send him your thoughts and encouragement!

Future updates are already being planned, and over the next few months, you may see changes and additions to what may very well become MGC’s new Flagship GamerCard. As always, you can grab this from the MyGamerCard Homepage.

MyGamerCard wishes you a very wonderful New Year!

Not sure if I should post this here or in Help and Feedback, but whenever I choose the NXE Theme and try to change the option, I don't see Silverlight, I only see Mini.

  3. JKOgden says:

Woa, this is very very nice! Thank you for the hard work on this!

  4. Shahaf MANIAC says:

how do i put this as a signature?

  5. Morgon says:

andami - As the front page says, it's in its own separate tab in the screen after you enter your GamerTag.

Shahaf - That will take a bit more work on the part of the forum owner. They will have to allow people to use the code (just to be fair, most forum signatures don't allow for Flash, either). Many forums can create custom BBCode to allow for it; MGC uses the code
[ nxe ]{GamerTag}[ /nxe ] (with no spaces in the brackets) to display the Silverlight card. You should contact the administrators of the forum(s) you belong to so they can make this change.

So where can we put this? I've used the old Flash card on my MySpace profile for a couple years now and this is much better, but it won't show up on MySpace profiles. Do they not allow Silverlight?<br />
    <br />
If not, a) is there a way around it and cool.gif will there be a Flash version?

  13. Raider1987 says:

Wow very very cool. Would it be possible to get a version that doesn't display the avatar? I have a rather unexplainable amount of hate towards them.

any chance of this being ported to vista/7 gadget platform?
